I’m H,
A ceremony‑obsessed, story‑driven, Yorkshire‑tea‑fuelled celebrant with a soft spot for gold sandals, fancy headbands and any tapas dish that arrives with extra aioli.
I’m the woman who cries at love stories, laughs too loudly at wedding rehearsals, and chats to my Westie about what’s for lunch like she’s my business partner.
Ceremonies are my heartbeat. They’re where two stories collide, intertwine and decide to walk forward together. Creating those moments — shaping them, honouring them, celebrating them — is the reason I became a celebrant. But it’s also the reason something bigger began to stir in me… something that would eventually become Let’s Talk Ceremonies.
WHY I DO THIS -
THE STORY BEHIND THE WORK
I didn’t grow up dreaming of being a celebrant. I didn’t even know what one was until a throwaway comment from a friend over a glass of wine changed everything.
Fast‑forward to today: Consistently fully booked, and a business that fills my days with joy, purpose and the kind of magic you can’t manufacture.
But here’s the part no one tells you — after your formal celebrant training, there’s a huge gap. You’re handed a certificate… and then left to figure out the business, the marketing, the systems, the client experience, the confidence — it feels like all on your own.
I learned the hard way. I made the mistakes. I built everything from scratch. And I promised myself that once I’d figured it out, I’d go back and help the next wave of celebrants do it faster, easier, and with far fewer tears over Canva.

Let’s Talk Ceremonies was born because I knew exactly how it felt to finish training and think, “Now what?”
I went from zero to fully booked by building processes, tools, templates and systems that actually work — and I created this space to share all of it. No gatekeeping. No fluff. Just the real, practical, actionable steps that helped me grow a thriving celebrant business.
